Dapwood’s Eco Friendly Definition

As a part of Dapwood’s sustainability efforts, eco friendly at Dapwood means good stewardship of our place. We like to say “place” because soil or resource or neighborhood is limiting. We need to think on a larger scale and how one action can cause a reaction in a completely different area. We live in a world of complex interrelationships that we have only started to understand. Dapwood is working to see this connectivity in order to make smart long-term decisions to mitigate any harm to our place.

Dapwood’s Eco Friendly Efforts

At Dapwood, we are focused on several eco friendly areas:

  • Quality Furniture– Quality products provide a quality life and best value
  • Resource Recovery– Squeezing out all that we can from our precious resources
  • Energy Use– Responsible use of energy and looking to renewable energies
  • Community– Without community, we have nothing
  • B-Corporations– Proving that Dapwood is different and leading the charge of a new type of business

In short, we believe and practice being eco friendly- there are no greenwashing euphemisms here.
