New Year starts with a blackout?

Coming out of the holiday break we were unfortunately targeted for a copper wire heist. Thieves decided that breaking into a transformer and cutting live wires was worth the lure of $60 in scrap metal. For us it meant no power to run equipment, no work for our employees, unknown hours wasted on phone calls, some late orders and overall….anger on my part. It is one of my fundamental principles in life to respect one another and that includes property and livelihood. This event was a blatant trampling of my principle.

The anger has subsided as we are starting to get back up to speed.  I just wanted to say that I appreciate the understanding and kind words that people have shared with me. I truly thank you.

I think it is an understatement to say it has been an interesting start to 2013. Fortunately, we have a lot to be thankful for and looking forward we have a lot planed for the rest of the year to keep us focused. This is just another bump in the road of life.
